Whether you have new or old concrete there are still some things you should know in order to care for your concrete.
For general cleaning
Use generic bleach. Pour on concrete and let soak for a while. Then scrub it with a push broom. Then wash it away. It’s not guaranteed to clean it 100% but it should get most of it off.
For oil stains
Wet affected area. Mix baking soda and water into a paste. Scrub into the affected area and wash away.
If you have a new driveway poured by us we will tell you or have already told you these things.
- ABSOLUTELY NO vehicles on new concrete for at least 10 days. We recommend staying off for 14 days.
- Your new driveway has been sealed with D-Tech™. There is no need for any additional sealer.
- NO salt for the first year. Salt makes concrete spall. Spalling is when the top surface of your concrete pops off.
